The clitoris, the central organ of female sexual pleasure

The clitoris is the organ most sensitive female. Richly innervated, the clitoris is the female of the male penis as it has the ability to enter erect under the stimulation.

The clitoris is one of the female sexual organs. It is at the top of the labia minora and includes a projecting portion and a visible and invisible inner scope. Form and anatomy strongly resemble the penis in men.

The clitoris in anatomy
The clitoris is like an iceberg. The visible part is notoriously smaller than the underground! Indeed, the prominent button at the top of the labia minora is nothing compared to the submerged inside the body.

Overall, the prominence visible is only 0.4 to 1 cm in diameter. The visible clitoris is the conjunction of two roots of 10 cm around the vagina and urethra. It is highly innervated, which explains its very high sensitivity to the slightest stimulation. The clitoris is visible, initially during the fetal stage, the same as the male penis. And in fact, the clitoris as an adult looks exactly like a penis as it is made of a hollow body, a body sponge, a foreskin (or cap) and a tassel. The operation of the clitoris is rather similar to that of a penis. Stimulation causes an erection as well as opening and lubrication of the vagina, two signs of the growing excitement.

The clitoris in history
For years, the clitoris was considered the one and only body of female pleasure. According to a hypothesis put forward by Hippocrates, the clitoris was in charge of seed (the cum). Reproduction could not be done, it was believed that when the enjoyment was obtained. This belief has long been the force of law has resulted in the Middle Ages in a practice dubbed by the church: to rub the clitoris in a circular motion with scented oil for the woman becomes pregnant. This theory has brought joy to millions of Christians at the time but it proved inaccurate. Everybody knows today, the mechanism of fertility of a woman is in no way dependent on the fact that it is an orgasm.

The clitoris, a sesame for mating
Technically, clitoral stimulation opens the path of penetration. Such is the case in all mammals, including humans! In practice, the erection of the clitoris as a result of direct or indirect stimulation causes the opening and lubrication of the vagina. For the particular mammal is man and some primates, sexual intercourse is not conducted for the sole purpose of procreation. The pleasure is in the heart of the process. However, since the work of Masters and Johnson, it is recognized and proven that orgasm always involves the clitoris and that, whatever the type of stimulation (direct or indirect). The clitoris is right in the heart of the mechanism of the sexual act. S'entreprend its stimulation with fingers, lips, tongue ...

Did you know?

Theories that women are clitoral or vaginal largely exceeded. The clitoris is inseparable from the excitement and the female orgasm and in a sense, it is at the heart of female sexuality.
